Queen B.
Queen B. is 15 years old and was born with a very rare bone disease that causes her bones to fracture very easily, called Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 1. In August of 2024, Dealers of Hope Foundation was able to get Queen a wheelchair to help her gain her mobility and independence. Queen absolutely loved going to school and learning, but due to her brittle bones and current casting for fractures and lack of accessibility of local schools, she is not able to safely go to school.
One of the many obstacles for her is finding a full-time private teacher who will come to her home and give her the schooling that she craves. Queen has not been able to attend school in almost 3 years due to her disability. The cost of a private in-home teacher would be approximately $400 - $500/month.
Queen loves to create art! She loves to paint and sew. It would be a wish for her to have more supplies to be able to make art, which is one of the few activities she is physically able to do.
