Lake Manyara Day Trip Itinerary

This day trip to Lake Manyara National Park, will offer you incredible views of Tanzania's hippos at the hippo pool, as well as a close view of the beautiful pink flamingoes. If you are lucky, you may even see a tree-climbing lion. This day trip is a great alternative to Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and driven to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for it's large number of pink flamingos.
We will do a game drive viewing many different birds and if you are lucky we will spot one of the tree-climbing lions. We will visit the hippo pool for a close look at the hippos and the hot spring. During this game drive you will have the opportunity to spot buffalos, wildebeests, warthogs, vultures, eagles and monkeys.
We will go to a picnic site to enjoy lunch and then continue our game drive. After, you will be transported back to your hotel in Moshi.
